This new adaptation of Carmen transposes the work into an urban and contemporary setting, resonating with current issues surrounding women's place in society, their emancipation, and questions of equality.

The four characters — Carmen, Don José, Micaëla, and Escamillo — evolve equally in an intense dynamic, amidst passion, freedom, jealousy, and power.

Driven by choreography without a narrative, the piece explores powerful urban life scenes and movements that are both fluid and energetic.

A Carmen of today, free and without borders.
